MCP servers
Configure project-scoped MCP servers in .mcp.json and pass them to compatible agents over ACP.
Palisade manages Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers per project. It passes them to compatible agents over ACP.
Configuration
MCP servers are configured per project in the project's .mcp.json.
Because the file lives in the repository, it can ship with the project.
Palisade can search the MCP registry.
Transports
| Transport | Support |
|---|---|
| stdio | Works as the common baseline. |
| Remote transports | Available only when the agent advertises support for them. |
What a given agent can use depends on the capabilities it advertises.
Privacy
An MCP server you add may talk to its own external service. That traffic belongs to the server you chose, not to Palisade. See Storage and privacy.
