Git
Diffs, staging, commits, branches, remote sync, history, and change attribution inside Palisade.
Palisade includes a git client, so you can finish a change without leaving the app.
What it covers
- Working and staged diffs.
- Staging by hunk or by file.
- Commits, with commit-subject suggestions from the local model.
- Branches.
- Remote sync.
- History.
- Change attribution.
Change attribution
Palisade attributes changes to the work that made them. When concurrent uncommitted work prevents certainty, it marks the attribution as ambiguous. It does not guess.
Threads and branches
Go tasks with Isolated enabled work in their own branches and worktrees. Merging a thread happens from the Review lane, gated on verify. Merge checks and conflict handling stay out of your main checkout.
Network
Palisade talks to your git remotes when you sync. See Storage and privacy.
