Review lane
Read a thread's diff file by file, with per-file viewed state and verify evidence beside it, before you merge.
Review is a first-class lane. It puts a thread's diff, your progress through it, and its verify evidence in one place.
What you see
- File list. Every file the thread changed.
- Inline diff. Added and removed lines for the selected file.
- Viewed state. Mark each file as viewed as you go.
- Verify evidence. The latest verify result, for example
Not verified. - Actions. Run verify above the diff. Merge and Open PR below it.
Merging
Configure verification first. Merge runs any project checks that lack passing evidence at the thread’s current commit and stops on failure. The worktree must be committed and ready to merge. Choose Merge anyway… to explicitly override verification. The override is recorded.
Open PR is the alternative when the change should go through your normal pull request flow.
Review list badges
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unreviewed | A turn ended and nobody has opened the thread since. |
| Needs attention | The thread is blocked on you. |
Opening a thread marks it viewed, so it leaves the Unreviewed band. See Unreviewed turns.
Review is not PR code review
In Palisade, review means reading a thread's diff with its verify evidence before merge. It happens before any pull request exists.
